Hi MG: Thanks to all for their well wishes both here and in private messages. I'm really in shock that this has happened. The blood clots in my lungs were pre-existing, but the stress of what happened this summer caused a recurrence, I'm told. I know my lupus tests went kaput from April to July. We'll see what the Mayo people say. I'm in a good place and am thankful for that. As to alternative treatments, I'm open. There aren't a lot of treatment options when you get to this condition in this stage through traditional medicine. Like some of us agree, money is nice, but it isn't everything. I'd give all mine to have my lungs and health back. I just encourage all to put their energies into the things in life that are worth it and leave the other stuff alone. Mary
