here's the fun part......

"We have held exploratory discussions with several biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies regarding possible strategic
alliances including joint ventures, mergers, or the sale of Cistron. These activities, begun in the Fall of 1997, have taken
considerable time of both management and its financial advisor, BlueStone Capital Partners."

So, he admits that he sat on his periodontal butt for a year. Well, he actually admits to about nine months, but we know it was a year.

We should write our own version...... "after being bludgeoned about the buttocks by shareholders who were trying to shake my head loose, I finally wrote the GTI/Novartis letter. Unfortunately, I didn't find it under the doughnuts until December '97, after I had already blown the reagents business to hell and collected the world's great IL-1 minds to pursue an independent means of detecting rotting gums."

Rudy..... I'll write it. Can you contact Hal to see if we can get it posted at the website?

Thanks.
