<<<anybody that would have blurbed their personal life to Starr the voyeur would have folded over due to lack of character.>>>

Mr. Clinton is in trouble because Monica blabbed it to Linda Tripp not Ken Starr. Starr had an indictment, Linda only had a tape recorder.

>>> Clinton passed my test on that. >>>

I won't spend too much time commenting on how utterly feeble this is but do you think that the reason Mr. Clinton didn't scream about his affair with Monica from the rooftops might be because he had something to lose and not from any virtue on his part? It's hardly courageous to avoid doing things that you know will bring you injury.

<<<He isnt the perfect leader mind you. >>>

We're not looking for perfect. Decent yes, savvy yes, perfect no.
Mr. Clinton proved his lack of spine years ago. He proved that when he marched Mama Reno out to take the hit for Waco. So that's a non issue at this point. What's appalling to most is he has finally proven his lack of humility and common sense. Any President who thinks he can diddle a 21 year old intern and she isn't going to blab about it lacks common sense and is outwardly arrogant and stupid.

<<<Obviously people here feel an allegiance to Starr and an oath supercede someones responsibility to the people that are close to him - I dont agree. >>>

Which gives us a very clear concept of your own character.

Well Michelle, while you applaud Clinton for "not blurbing his personal life to Starr", you might keep in mind that Politically, if Clinton had been found guilty of Sexual Harassment charges by Paula Jones, not even you would have been able to dream up rationalizations for that kind of person to remain in the Oval Office as leader of the free world.

It was political necessity which drove Clinton to commit perjury - Nothing more and nothing less. Clearly his wife isn't distraught about finding out about the affair, just as she didn't divorce him after the affair with Gennifer. Within a day of Clinton's public "regret" recently, Hillary put out a statement saying she "is committed to" her marriage and family. She has since repeated similar statements like "being supportive during both good times and bad".

"Obviously people here feel an allegiance to Starr and an oath supercede someones responsibility to the people that are close to him - I dont agree. JMO

Clinton's responsibility to his family was to remain faithful to his wife -- *that* is where he failed. He did not turn that failure into success by lying to a court (the Jones' Court, presided over by Judge Susan Webber Wright, not Starr).
