DK, sorry it does read a bit odd. Mea Culpa.

What I meant to say was that the cash position is approx. between 2.5 and 10 times any given Q over the last 3 years.

I have confirmed a bit of info regarding the new QM-DI+. The increase imaging speed is a result of some hardware (mostly a new plate cleaning system, somewhere in the past was some info on a new cleaning solution that would also increase the DPI or line screens) and also a software upgrade. The next gen laser is NOT part of the new QM-DI+ (yet?).

Care to bet a soda cracker on the royalties from Heidelberg regarding the SM-74DI? As I have said many times, I think it will happen.

My understanding is that there may not be a release of any new no-process plates at IPEX. Kodak has a thermal no-process plate but it may not prove to be viable as it exists today. This vapor plate has problems creating to much dust and debris from the thermal imaging process due mainly to its rather thick emulsion. I believe they call it the Volcano and for good reason.

Looks like the PEARLgold will be the only no-process plate on the market for awhile. I sure hope that Heidelberg/Creo sell lots of the platesetters that will be imaging the PRST GOLD.

Good luck to each and all
