Read Dell's financial statements, and look at Dataquest/IDC data and you will start to get a good idea as to why Dell's stock has done so well....If you want to continue to illusion yourself by comparing Dell to the internet stocks, go ahead...You will continue to miss the point. BTW- I am not (necessarily) down on CPQ...By next year, they should have their house in order, and start to do well again (as a company.... as a stock- the recovery should come a bit earlier)...Good luck with your investment
