It's easy for me to not like the stock at these levels. the valuation is ridiculous, but there are many valuations that are just as attractive that haven't faced major execution challenges and are actually growing at much higher rates.

I know some people like to buy washed out remnants like this one. But I'll make an argument: More money is made in technology investing AFTER the company has proven that its execution in working.

If the front office market is massive and vantive can fix itself, I think more money will be made after they have proven they can grow again.

David, VNTV at these levels might have been a good opportunity had so many other stocks not gotten to their current levels. I just think that right now there are companies who don't have internal and competitive problems to fix that will provide a much higher probability of stock appreciation....once this market turns around and once this sector comes back into favor. Anyway, that's just my personal opinion. Right now, I'm not sure all these stocks won't go even lower before they go higher...hope this isn't true but I never thought some of them would be where they are today. If I had a choice of psft at 31 vs. vntv at 9, it would be a no brainer to me. Though then again, psft at 31 is only a bargain if it doesn't go to 25 which is why I'm not buying any. All I can say is that this is a very ugly market right now unless you're in the large caps and even there you have to be selective.
