Richard, Whenever events unfold for which there is no ready explanation the paranoid theories come to life. We have no explanation of the trading today therefore theories have emerged of a varied sort which are elaborate, complicated and speculative. All are designed to make sense of the presently unknowable. The most frequent is that there is inside selling because somebody on the inside knows something to which we poor shareholders are not privy. (Why then has DeNoble been buying this week?) McKay shows up with a dynamite report and inside selling results? There is fear that because there is heavy selling someone someplace has special knowledge. Even Zeev implies this with his FA vs TA. The most likely scenario IMO is what Ive posted before is the simplest, namely that there is a fed up shareholder(s) with a large postion who no longer believes anything which GPGI puts out and no longer pays any attention to developments in the company. He believes this because all the desert dirt companies have tanked therefore how could Global be successful. Also, Global has made claims in the past about production which have not panned out. So why believe them now. While I am convinced that selling at this time will prove in error, a shareholder who has lost confidence is not necesarily irrational. But he is not informed. And that1s ok. One is entitled to be not informed. Selling, out of conviction that the company is not viable, is understandable. But it is not because there is special, secret knowlege that something is basically wrong and that only a select few know this. This is paranoia. I doubt if the shares are being shorted and I doubt that the market makers are levying an assault on the company. They play the stock and scalp a few pennies every day. But that is their job. I also doubt the theory that the South African platinum companies are trying to hurt GPGI for fear that GPGI will be put them out of business. If anything they would try to buy the company if they were convinced it is real ( this will happen later on IMO). To be sure the Slankers of this world are terrified of Global and the Jay Taylors who missed the boat on GPGI and touted IPM are certainly not fans of the company. But they have no clout. Neither does the AZ Bureau of Mines. To me, the flip side of the selling is that the shares are going into stronger hands and this will tell in the not too distant future. Regards, Ed
