Isn't it interesting to see the machine that supports this bull fighting to keep it above water. All of this talk today of a melt up. Gee, its not like we are even significantly down on the major averages yet. I still can't get over the DELL, internet, S&P, DOW phenomenon. The broad market and the world is in the crapper and DELL hits new highs. It has been a bizarre market for a long time. IMO, when and if those stocks break, reality will sink in, and it will be over. I have said for a long time a 400+ point down day would get everybody's attention.

I think we should forget the gold standard and just back global currencies with DELL stock certificates. <g>

You couldn't have hit the nail more squarely on the head.

It is too bad John Q. Public has been sold on this scheme.

I have a financial background and have a pretty good handle on the fundamentals (Balance sheets, Income Statments, Cash flow). I have been AMAZED how many of my friends in the accounting and financial community have been so blind to the fundamentals and trickery and bought bloated stocks.
