3,

Well I'm a fundamentals kind of gal myself but you have enlightened me to TA and I can see that it makes a lot of sense. As a math major, I feel you have made a slight error, Dells rise in stock price is a logarithmic function which increases as the mkt decline accelerates. So, when that Big Kahuna crash shows up that all the Dell bear thread inhabitants are so afraid of, say the mkt falls to, oh, 4500, Dell stock will actually rise about 450 pts. <ggg>

Its just simple logic.

''I am sure traders are being told from an economic standpoint, what is happening in Russia has very little to do with what we have here,'' said Joseph Barthel, chief investment strategist at Fahnestock & Co. ''It doesn't impact corporate earnings or our inflation rate to any meaningful degree.''
