I'm starting to wonder if Compaq has any life in it at ALL, regardless of earnings...We may be sitting on a stock that'll show 4th quarter profits of better than expected earnings, and investors STILL won't care, while Dell just makes their estimates and their stock soars...It may be time to look for another Wall St. darling and hop on the bandwagon, cause if there's one thing I've learned in the market so far is, the older a company gets, the more bored it's investors get with it. Look at Yahoo, Amazon, etc...Do their earnings justify their stock price? Let's face it, we're in this company because we want to make a profit, but if there's another company that'll reach our goal before this baby....we're there!
