According Interfax news agency, the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan took a
decision to meet the demands of CCL Oil Company and adopt the decrees
452, dated May 1998, which defines transfer of the 87% state stock in PROS JSC (Pavlodar Refinery) to Kazakhoil. The court also approved the decree dated May 19, 1998, which administrates the right of Kazakhoil to own plant. Kazakhoil is obliged to return the stockes to the department of state property and privatization, who later passes it to the CCL Oil Company. Alexander Kirichansky of CCL Oil said the court's decision will favorably tell on the country's image as alaw-abiding country.
