Hi Thean!

Am on vacation and finally got an ISP besides AOL. Unfortunately, we are not in a much populated area, so I'm limited to about 28.8. Sloooow.

NKE unveiled a new advertising/promotion strategy that apparently keys on "death." A review by some advertising industry people on CNBC suggested that such a strategy might be risky. Still holding my short.

Short more CCI, JPM, and AXP today. If the rumor that FED is leaning toward easing rates is believed, I will be screwed. But I think the global economic situtation is still so bad, that these will be good for a bit more on the downside. At least until LT's meltdown arrives!!gg

Still haven't had time to do any kind of systematic analysis of position shorts? BTW, where is our Mrs. Jones??

Today I watched at least three supposed expert analysts/strategists on CNBC who indicated that things look good "going forward." I may be a novice, but I think these guys are out-of-touch.

Now, now, I didn't say THE DAY. I just think tomorrow will be ugly. Either way I haven't sold a single put or covered a short. So maybe it will be THE DAY! Although we could finally break this "bottom" that's been holding. NASCRAP looks ready to go... down!

BTW- I am leaning more and more to a mkt decline that just grinds out w/out a real "crash day." I think we'll wake up a few months from now and say "wow, we're down 4000 points, sure doesn't seem like it?"

<<So tomorrow will be THE DAY according to your star reading, eh?>>

I don't know, Thean, hasn't the DAY been, like, every Monday for the last month?

Just teasing, LT!
