Hi Z and all, Am out of town, but got to use a computer and get linked to the web for a couple of hours today to try to catch up with what is happening. Pretty depressing. Just to butt in, there are a number of country funds that trade at a large premium to NAV. In the case of Malaysia where there is a WEB security, this makes no sense - where's the downside to shorting the fund (assuming it's shortable) and buying the WEB? I think the Thai and Indonesian country funds also trade at large premiums, but in those cases I don't know if there's a shortable proxy.
