From Lehman report dated 8/19....Sounds familiar, Gumport is already on my list of analysts that do not trust the management of this company...it's a long and growing list..

WE THINK THE $15 RANGE SHOULD BE THE BOTTOM, BUT WE WOULD NOT RUSH TO BUY
UNTIL BETTER EPS MOMENTUM IS MORE VISIBLE. We see growing investor reticence towards commitments to LSI due to the quality and timeliness of information. Last year, a persistent rumor suggested LSI would lose the Playstation business. The rumor was wrong, but the germ of truth is that LSI's Playstation revenues are down well over 50%. LSI's stock traded down in recent days BEFORE the shortfall announcement. These coincidences (in which
rumors turn out to be right even if the reasoning is partially wrong)
contribute to a general concern by investors that information and issues are not being portrayed with the degree of transparency desired. Given the specific issues LSI faces, lower valuations elsewhere, and poor near term results, we would be cautious about near term commitments pending better visibility.
