Joe, before you plunk down USD on a new Porsche, remember we are spinning into deflation. US Dollars will be worth more against European currencies as time passes. May be better financially to wait before buying large items. Automobile inventories will rise and prices will fall. Interest will be nil. If you have your heart set, go for it. Otherwise, deflation has its benefits [to those with bucks]. Many prospered in the 30s. To all: Best hedge against deflation is to keep your job. Just ask anyone that lived through the 30s. Rande Is
