Thread-Bonnie Update!!

I thought I'd post this while we still have power. I had the cpt off for a while because the power was flickering off and on.

Bonnie came ashore about 2 PM est at the mouth of the Cape Fear River(Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach area) and has stalled there. They are sufferring wind damage and beach erosion. The expected path now is N/NE, which means it will run up the coastline. We are currently getting heavy rain and winds about 35-45 mph (I'm 30 miles east of Raleigh)

The storm is expected to shrink in size, but no immediate loss of intensity.

Thinks don't look to serious here right now, but I'll check back in the AM, if I have power and phone lines. I have lost my phone connection twice as I was typing this.

Ann. Have to think about this joke. Yes, David will not tell us where he hails from, not even from what corner of the US. He is using that "Don't ask, don't tell" thing. gg. All I know is that he does not beat Margaret or me on EST in the evenings when we are on.

Ann,

It is always raining (if you have any humidity at all). It just might not be measurable. ;^)
