<<<You must blame it at the source, and that is Hitler and the Nationalist/Nativist movement (Weimar Republic) that bore him. Or
does it hit too close to home to realize the kind of nationalistic tripe you're selling on this thread sounds like it came straight out of Mein Kampf?>>

Doughbrain, learn to read, learn to reason. I did not blame Neville Chamberlain or your liberal ideas for the Holocaust. What I did say is that it had it's roots in liberal thinking and in Neville Chamberlain's policies. From that it was allowed to germinate. Upon reading Sir Winston Churchill's memoirs one will find that he warned of the coming danger of the power being consolidated under Adolf Hitler. Even with Mein Kampf in their hands, followers of Chamberlain failed to understand or face the reality of Hitler's intentions. Sir Winston, former First Lord of the Admiralty, knew full well it took to build or rebuild a military force. In the late 1930's a country had to have at least a one and one half year lead time in which to build a significantly forceful military. The fate of the Jews was assured long before the invasion of Poland. By 1934, the Jewish people had all but been banished from public and professional life in Germany. The Night of the Broken Glass was ignored. The Olympics of 1936 beheld signs saying "Jews Not Welcome". Upon taking power, Neville Chamberlain continued the policy of appeasement and Hitler's annexations began. It reached it's apex with warnings that an armed military takeover of Sudetenland was imminent. Rather than realize the consequences of appeasement Neville championed the Munich Pact. With paper in hand, he looked upon his accomplishment as a stroke of genius rather than look at the evidence to the contrary and realize it was a practice in folly. With that appeasement came the fall of Western Europe and the certain fate for the Jews. Within two years Western Europe was in Nazi control. Had Neville Chamberlain acted swiftly the catastrophe would have been averted. William Shirer all but confirms this in his book "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich". Any questions Doughbrain?

By the way, your attempts to claim that I am somehow "nationalistic" are almost, not quite, but almost the most ridiculous claim you have made yet. Nevertheless, appeasement at any cost to terrorists I am strictly against. If you view that as "nationalistic" then by all means bumble around in the dark if you must. Let me know when you need a light. Be assured my flame is far from extinguished where you are concerned.
