All my Dell computers have worn like iron. I am writing you on a dell 486 66 mg. I keep wanting to upgrade but this one runs to well.
I regret to admit that I did not buy any of the stock.

Well certainly nobody is perfect, and I am sure you will have a few isolated incidents here and there. I am sure DELL wouldn't be #1 in quality as ranked by various industry publications without evidence from a larger sample of the population.

Eddie,

Just curious, do you still own DELL? I regularly read the DELL thread and I recall you getting into DELL at about $75. I'm somewhat puzzled by your comments, as well as others here on the CPQ thread who own DELL. If you feel the stock is overvalued, and the company puts out lousy computers, why do you still own the stock? Don't bite the company that just gave you 53 points!

Eddie Kim,

Don't worry about sending your Dell monitor back. I would guess your Dell box will be returned soon. As for the Dellheads saying yours is an isolated case, I brought close to 175 Dells over the last year (only PC supported in my company), and I have had hardware problems with approximately 35%-45% of them.

I finally broke down and brought 5 more Dells to use as loners while some of my other machines are in the shop. On any one day, I can now usually count on having 175 functioning machines.

Regards
