Favors thinks the market will peak after the first week in Sept, and I forget his nominal time interval from market top to bottom. Ask Dennis Patterson on the Stock Attack thread, he subcribes to Favors.

Perhaps there will be a knee-jerk reaction either just before or when Ken Starr delivers his report and the Congressional rhetoric heats up.

At of yesterday, only 25% of stocks appear above their respective 200-day moving average and only 16% above their respective 50-day moving average. A buy doesn't appear imminent until these cross over again.
