Jeff:

I have a thing called "my track" which I downloaded for free some time ago. One of the things it provides is a list of transactions, including current bid ask. What I find on it today is that from about 11:30 on 172,000 shares were traded, all at the ask or closer to the ask than to the current bid. They all look like buys. Yet the stock didn't move at all, and late in the day the asked dropped a cent and the quantity offered at the ask increased from 2500 to 5000.

It looks like Mike's message generated some buying interest, and someone was clearly using it to unload stock.
