Hey, check it out: according to the SI profile, Dell has a P/E ratio of 85.6... The market cap is almost as big as IBM's.

The Trend Can Be Your Friend. <<The NIU computer lab here in Hoffman Estates has installed 60 new Dell workstations. Used to have CPQ.>> That is the trend in a number of markets around the world. DELL is capturing new customer's attention everyday. They are also very good at retaining existing customers. And of course they have NO PROBLEM recruiting new investors. Even the tired, under-performing mutual fund managers are starting to realize that they need to own DELL. They used to think they were safe with a little MSFT somewhere in their top ten holdings. Wrong. Its time for a wake-up call. Investors are demanding higher performance. My relatives are starting to sell some of their under performing mutual funds (and I sold all of my mutual funds over a year ago). Why diversify (and let an overpaid MBA try to beat the market) when you can own DELL??

In the last few days I have sold some of my stocks that are weaker performers and I have bought more DELL. Each day I thought I was paying too much for DELL. Of course that will not be true in a few months. My last purchase was at $126/share this morning. I have concluded that I am better off by having a BIG position in "the Michael Jordan of S&P stocks" -- DELL Computer. DELL is now over 70% of my Long Term holdings and my returns are looking better every week.
I only wish I had discovered this wonderful stock a few years ago!!!

Thanks everyone for your insight, analysis, and encouragement. I truly believe that Michael Dell and his team will deliver many more good years of returns for investors. IMO, the risk/reward profile on this stock is outstanding.

Have a good evening. I hope to meet some of you in person at a DELL-icious BBQ somewhere around the country!

-Scott

Jim, these guys hide under rocks and come out only when the price of the stock is falling! Has any one of these guys ever taken you up on your challenge?
