MARKHAR Chief, do you know of any reason(s) for Newmont stock to dip today? I think we can cover the infinite range of hypotheticals by considering it the context of these two: 1) something other than the GE rumor. 2) the GE rumor. 1) 2375 stocks were losers versus 728 winners on the NYSE 2) 3 to 1 losers on the NASDAQ 3) Gold was down $2.20 4) Russian Stock Market was shut down because of a run on their currency 5) People are bailing on Blue Chip to cover losses on the Russell 6) Margins are being called left, right and centre on many Canadian Stocks These are not questions asked with sarcasm. I am very interested in your opinion of my supposition. An advanced "thank you", Chief, for your input. Please note that I did qualify the final portion of my statement with, "If the rumor..." Then I suggest you don't include statements like "naysayer moron's"!! If you don't like negative/critical comments about a stock you own, then hit the next button.
