It's not that MSFT is what I would call a DOG, but I sure left a lot of leftovers on the table. Just look at the chart, and you start to feel a little ill. But put that MSFT next to say a NSCP chart, and smiles reappear.

A Bloomberg report on 8/25 quotes of a Legg Mason portfolio manager who owns 4.8 million shares of Dell: "It is one of the best-managed companies I've ever seen."
She further notes: '"IF EARNINGS ARE SLOWING DOWN, COMPANIES THAT ARE GROWING ARE GOING TO BE MORE HIGHLY VALUED."
