Ron,
You lucky, or I was too greedy. This afternoon I placed an order at $15 3/8 but didn't get fill. If it get filled, it will be the forth time I buy THQI in 1 year (I first bought it in last August :o). I still wonder what caused the technical break down of THQI? Is it the form 144? Titles delay? Private placement? or all of the above? In the past, it takes serious material bad news like WCW or dilutive financing to bring THQI below its 200 DMA.

Ron, good call on the trading pattern. You're probably right about THQ bucking towards $18 very soon. In June I believe we violated our 200 DMA by about $.50 and had no trouble shooting up a quick 20% from there. Then we had the WWF announcement and Quest release, which led to more quick upside. It seems THQI suffers during dead periods when no games are released.

As David Haines said on the MF, this is the time when people start buying videogame stocks:

<<All in all 5 WCW releases during the next few months.
The stock is severely undervalued at this point. I have no idea why the
shorts didn't take today as a chance to load up for cheap. They will pay the
price come September. The usual cyclical players are all lined up to play THQ
from September to December as they usually do. The kicker is this year, THQ
gets to start at $26 (excuse me $17.50) instead of below $10 like last year.
Also this year we have some 1.5 million shares short versus last
year's less than 100k. It should be a fun 4 months. Go THQ!>>

And of course there are loads of unappreciated FA tidbits that are not factored into the price, such as:

<<They just said on CNBC that sony will spend $40 million on advertising this
Christmas to try to get their playstation to appeal to a much larger audience
including women and children. Perfect for THQ's Rugrats title!>>
