Richard:

I too saw the videotape of the AGM and disagree with you. The technical presentations by Geophysics, Kilborn and Hewlett were designed to wow the crowd, but none of it matters if Maxam cannot demonstrate recovery of metal from dirt, and thus far, they have failed to do so. IMO, those who assume that nice presentations at the AGM mean success have heads full of mush.

On Kilborn, I personally found Rick's comments about production ridiculous because he said that early 1999 would see production and so on and so forth. The lack of infrastructure, cash and progress meant that was no friggin' way they could ever be in production at Peoria Seven by early 1999. Oh, pardon me, how silly I am, "production" means the mickey mouse little 10 ton pilot plant, and didn't all of you know that that was what Q2 1998 production referred to? Oh well, it's moot because there is no Q2 production, even at the pilot plant.

That last comment on ten 10K tona day plants operating was quite laughable, IMO. They cannot even get one off the ground and already they're thinking ten? Well, it's nice hype to end the AGM, that's for sure.

I know you're happy that the stock price is at 10 tens cents so you can load up. Butr have you ever considered that the reason for the low stock price may be that the recovery process may possibly not work?
