O.K.,i never was one able to maintain silence(as I learned in the Weston Priory in Vermont,DD--31 years ago)--My anger is all Yahoo! oriented anyway--you wouldn't believe there still is post after post
on the ABTX thread with unbelievable rubbish--and that occurs on many Yahoo! threads.
Sandra I looked at NWCI today, and said that's it,I have had it--
better take 2.5k than possible near zero k,so I sold.
Regards ABTX for those who possibly maybe be curious the CC replay
number is 1-800-475-6701 for the rest of the evening I understand.
Regards the Market near term I can only for the moment see a chance
for a 300-400 point rally, and that being the funds now have 50 billion
dollarrs on the sidelines--
Redhead regards POG,it has become apparent the biggest enemy of it rising at the moment is the strength of the dollar--we will have to just wait
on are NEM--or something coming to pass as a surprise-
O yes one other thing,no matter how much I resist the bear apocalypse mentality,I realize I can NOT buy and sell on my view--
but of what is the ruling perception,I can no longer scornfully reject
the words of David Tice, and must sit back and with an open mind
consider his words--that is at least listen to them --and just keep thinking it over--I have no conclusions now,at all at this time.Max

Amigos y Amigas:

I put stop orders on all my holdings on Wed. night. The market helped me liquidate all my positions on Thurs. I haven't turned my computer on or checked for a stock quote since Wed. night. I did cheat and asked Cary on the telephone for a few prices though. Ouch !!!!!!!

My buying and selling decisions on individual stocks up to now has been based on fundamentals. This has temporarily changed. Stock's fundamentals had begun to have no correlation with the stock's price performance. Additionally, the major indexes for small caps as well as large caps had broken support. It was time to take a break from stocks.

Is the situation different now than it was on Wed. night ? The pros are saying publicly that the market has over reacted. I'm still wary of the market at this time and urge extreme caution. Look for sanity to return before throwing your money away.

My interests in the market have been focused on small caps and will continue to be simirilarly focused. I caution all that the small caps will not provide good returns until stability is restored in our markets.

Our market needs to establish sector leadership before we see a trend reversal. I am seeing some strong interest develop in the drug stocks. Merck, Eli Lilly, Johnson & Johnson are good examples. I'm
staying on the sidelines for now watching the developments. When fundamental factors become relevant, I will be back in the trenches.
