rrman,

with all due respect that is nothing but sophistry.

Hitler was not a 'bad guy' because he lost. He was a homicidal maniac and the rest of the world needed to defend itself. I will agree that in many wars the bad guy is merely the guy who lost. But the original question clearly asked how thw we should respond to the likes of Hitler, a man who would have gleefully killed millions more if not stopped. How do we stop the Hitlers, Stalins and Pol Pots of the world.

Henry

rrman, for you to imply that Sadam is perceived as a "bad guy" because he lost the gulf war is sick.

Those Iraqi children are'nt starving because of the US. They're starving because Iraq needs a headline to play for pity in the Arab world and to provide a little fuel to US bashers like yourself.

How many members of the Iraqi republican guard have even missed a meal while those children starve? My guess is none.

I wonder how much you would preach if Canada (I see you're from Toronto) shared a border with Iraq.

get real

rrman, me thinks you're just stirring the pot here. If push came to shove, I believe you would rather be on the side of the free world and not under the oppressive rule of a dictator. Sometimes one has to fight to defend these freedoms that we take for granted. If I am wrong in my assumption, may I ask why you choose to reside in a country that is dependant on the US for protection against foreign invasion? I await your response.
