To all,

OT - what else.

official chicken little here - the market got it all wrong.

If they are reacting to Russia, which has so little economic impact in the global markets, wait till they see the tsunami coming from Asia.

HKMA has been the lone support for the HS index for 9 days now. 2 nights ago, they felt cocky and stopped buying to see if the market has support. It dropped 150 points in less than 10 minutes. Scarry.

Japan is not going to let banks fail. LTCB reveals about US$20 billion in bad loans. Good indication of how bad other banks are. Economy not going anywhere but down. Yen is held up strictly by Mr. Yen's (too hard to spell out his long name) words.

Korea is at the verge of collapse, in danger of social unrest.

China flood damage now "officially" estimated at US$20 billion. If this is the official number, then we take the square root plus two multiply by the coefficient of 3 and you will get the real number. Regardless, it will be higher than the official release.

Hmmmmm, I wonder why is QC going down today?
