In my experience, the recent, seemingly unjustifiable collapse in the price of Informix usually means one thing: There is some very bad news coming that we individual investors, as usual, will be the last to hear about.

John: I remain confused on the forces involved. There is the general market (negative sentiment), Selling due to added pressure from the Convertibles and or a possible poor quarter.

Perhaps some one closer to the action will point us correctly.
