I didn't mean to compare them fundamentally; it was a technical observation. At the time when I pointed out Dell and IBM, we were in the middle of a very broad sell-off(actually in the worst part of the session in retrospect), and I was simply pointing out that two big-cap bellweather technology stocks were suddenly experiencing very heavy buying.

From that I figured we may see an exhaustion of negative sentiment and a turn in the overall market.
