Fair enough Steve.... I'll meet you halfway and we'll call it a draw. My knowledge of the Philippines is certainly not up to par yet, but i've been reading as much as I can find. Anyone on the thread with more insight on the Philippines would be greatly appreciated. There's been a lot of money made be some people short PHI. Taiwan update: exports through July fell over 16% from year ago levels, even though the NTD has depreciated quite significantly since last year, leaving the TW Gov. with a big decision to make. Plus, they're taking a page out of the HKMA's book by buying up Taipei shares and furthermore, to take a page out of Malaysia's book, are also imposing measures to curb shorting, such as margin requirement hikes. BOOOOOO!
