Lucent weakens despite product news
Shares in Lucent Technologies (LU) lost a point on
Tuesday despite the company's announcement that its
microelectronic group has introduced the first
digital-signal-processor-based modem chip. The Lucent
chip is the first to comply with the new Universal Serial
Bus (USB) standard, expected to be on all desktops and
80 percent of notebooks sold this year, including Apple's
stylish new iMac. Lucent closed at 87.

So where is a good price to buy some Lucent? It's 82 now, a better buy in a few days or stock up now?
