Why don't the numbers work out using that option strategy?

Hi Ric, thanks for stopping by.

re the June deal. Any idea who the LD company involved was? Should we guess someone like Frontier or Qwest?

"I can't give you the timing but there will be a party somewhere south of the continent next year that we should all be able to attend."

Such a tease. Maybe a cruise on that WinStar cruise lines after all. Pam's in charge of reservations.

Richard,
How do you know the June account to be true (rumors in the telecom
circles or did any company representatives admit to having
discussions), nonetheless some form of comfort given the last few
weeks. I assume by the story that BTY wanted assets including WCII
and parts of the LD company but not WCII alone. Certainly a different
version of BTY interest in the combined entity of WCII and ARTT.
I was one of those who bought ARTT on the basis of WCII thinking the
company (ARTT) was worth 2.2 shares to 1 WCII. Clearly, ARTT needs a
white knight if they are opposed to Bill and Nate. Any thought on
ARTT and WCII 13% interest/investment/loss? As always I appreciate
your insight.
Gary
