Kerry, It really is nice to see you post again on Ancor. I knew you were somewhere, but unlike babblers like myself...you wait until you have something of value to write. I freely admit I have many questions and no source of answers. Reality being what it is...if Brocade personally offered me private shares of their IPO, I would have to say no. My current situation, driven by greed and ignoring advice from people like yourself...has left me looking for grocery money instead of thinking of ways to fund an IPO. In my worse case scenario, I never saw this stock going below 4. I am left holding the bag, wondering if I will pay for this mistake the rest of my life, or if Ken can pull off a miracle. My personal belief is that long term, this company has no chance of independent survival. I am hanging on to the hope that the market will establish a need for Ancor's products and that the value of the company will rise substantially, thereby creating an eventual buyout at a reasonable price. I will be amazed if Ancor exists as an independent by the year 2000. In the mean time...I just sit and wait. I was caught up in the excitement of what this year was suppose to bring for those who waited. While partly my fault for blindly believing, it was a substantial mis-calculation, forecasted by Ken and Cal last November. Regardless of their inability to create a market, whose products are not yet needed in mass...I still feel they have done a very sub-standard job in the area of protecting shareholder value. They remain a company cloaked under the shroud of NDA and hide behind it whenever possible. The PR from Ancor places them in last place along with their quarterly revenues. I am numb at this point regarding the current stock price and actually find myself laughing at the short position. I would think even a skeptic would be cautious about shorting at these levels. I remember wondering a year or so ago if the world really needed fibre channel switches. I am still not sure I know the answer to that question. Maybe next year...I just hope my thread doesn't break, in case 99 is finally the year. Roger
