Stac at 2 5/8, or a market cap of about $65M.

With $40M in the bank, it is beginning to look like a buy.

However, many other small stock caps are trading below book value, and the market seems to have no patience for companies that are not growing profits, let alone for companies that are losing money.

I think the market would respond favorably if Stac would announce some major cutbacks. The company's expenses and employee count are much too high for their run rate.

Hi/fn seems to be the only bright spot right now. Despite indications to the contrary and major investments of time and money, Replica sales still appear to be quite weak, with ReachOut being treated as a cash cow, and declining slowly.

The worst part is that the market abhors small tech stocks right now. Until Stac starts performing at the bottom line, the stock price will be depressed.
