Regarding this poison pill, I have always thought they were at most a nuisance to a determined suitor. The shareholders own the company, and if they want to accept a takeover bid, there are always ways they can do it. Like vote in new directors who will remove the poison pill. Usually, it doesn't come to this, and the poison pill merely delays the inevitable.

Interesting that of the 35 or so stocks I own, the only ones up today were 2 biotechs: ISIP and MLNM. ISIP got a drug approved, and I don't know the reason for MLNM. Probably a coincidence, but you never know... Still looking for the next biotech boom.
