Matthew 7
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

There are a lot of good works being done in the world this day by various denominations. They profess a belief in God, they hold church, they sing praises to Him and welcome all through their doors. Yet the evil I see in them is they preach another gospel. Gone is the Gospel of repentance and salvation through Christ. They are too accommodating to the world desiring to tickle the ears and too willing to condone that which God denounces in His word, even willing to ordain it rather than preach against it.
I agree Alan, saying the words and meaning them in your heart where only God can see are two different things.
In reading the various posts I remain unswayed. I believe Israel still has a place in God's plan and will pray always for that nation and its people and that all will accept Christ as saviour.
My prayers go out to you and your family and I will continue to pray for God's blessings upon His servants and peace amongst us here always.
There is such a field of harvest.......
In God's love,
John
