I have some questions regarding the INTC:CPQ relationship:

1. Why is CPQ's performance but not, seemingly, Dell's tied to Intel's? Is it because DELL has become almost a 'cult' stock? Logically, DELL should be more tied to INTC than CPQ because DELL is only a box maker while CPQ is a lot more.

2. Do people see CPQ breaking free of the INTC relationship when the street changes its mind-set and no longer views CPQ as a box maker?

3. Going with 1 and 2, when do people see a INTC:DELL relationship starting? I am not a basher of Dell by any means, but the euphoria over DELL--or any company--can't last forever; reality eventually sets-in and a company becomes just a company. For people who have followed Compaq since the beginning, remember how little CPQ was a cult stock in the mid/late '80s?
