Manfred,

Hill is one of the four or five market makers who are active in trading BANY stock.

Those who believe that a large short position in BANY stock exists......believe that those who have shorted or improperly sold large amounts of BANY stock.....have done it through Hill and Oxford.

As the theory goes.....this short position will need to be covered by buying back stock on the open market, either by ruling (in the case of improper actions) or by good common sense (stock quickly moving higher on news or corporate developments.

Anyhow.....by watching the trading by market makers on a level two machine....it is possible to see which market makers are buying up stock.....and which are selling. J. Saf believes that he now sees Hill buying BANY stock rather than selling.

Many believe that Hill and Oxford have been big sellers over the past 8 months.......So any change in that pattern is of interest.

I doubt any of this can be verified.....with out a great amount of effort and time spent.( I can tell you that J. Saf is very credible)...and it is worth noting that the volume is quite small......BANY has been very quiet for over a month now, so any little bit of information relating to possible movement is welcome....IMO.
