Covert is fine. But the Declaration should be public as hell. Without this support and commitment, its not okay for the bent and confused Executive Branch to mouth the W word. Regardless of what their agenda is, Islamic crazies will react to that sort of posturing as if the Exec's word was good. We must either follow through and supportively declare war, or ignore Bill's bs and let some horrible thing happen either here or elsewhere in the world.

The next step after blowing up a truck bomb that injures 5000 people, is something really big. This is doable. Not nice to think about but certainly not fantasy. Washington DC could be obliterated pretty easily, as could Tel Aviv or New York. The acquisition, training in use, assembly and transportation of a massive weapon can go unnoticed in the "free" world. All it takes is someone crazy enough to sacrifice his/her life for an opportunity to light the fuse.

This we would view as sick. But without a proactive approach, and without support from the political leadership in DC, someone's goose is cooking. Its only a matter of time. I'd give it 1-2 years tops.

God, I hope I'm wrong.
