Elmer, "Thanks Jim, these benchmarks clearly show the CeleronA beating the K6-2 clock for clock," Actually, the comparison is very rough since we don't know what components are in the systems. One very interesting thing is the Compaq Celeron 333 besting the Dell 333. I suspect a Celeron 333 is roughly equal clock for clock with a K6-2 but as of today we have the AMD-K6-350...which again puts pressure on Intels Celeron and Pentium II in terms of the MHz game. Not to mention 3DNOW!. All in all however, it seems that Intel did a good job with the Celeron A. They are holding their breath that it wasn't "too"good. After today in the market...all this might just be irrelevant anyway. Jim
