Ross Systems Acquires Business Partner

ATLANTA, Aug. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Ross Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROSS), a leading provider of business software solutions, announced today that it has purchased its business partner, HiPoint Systems Corporation. HiPoint, founded in 1992, provides professional services and certain software components related to Ross Systems' Renaissance CS(R) application suite. Ross Systems paid approximately $1.9 million in Ross shares to HiPoint's shareholders.
