No, Dowd, you couldn't have said it better. As near as I can tell, you couldn't have said it any near as well, with your limited comprehension and witless range of expression. I respect James despite our differing views, I've seen him contribute substantial arguments at times.

For the two of you the phrase is "ad hominem", defined as attacking an opponent's character rather that answering his argument. Here's an argument you haven't come up with an answer to, addressing one of your favorite ad hominems even:

So by your Bill's definition, who are the real commies here? I await your substantive reply. I'm not holding my breath, of course. Being called a commie or an old geezer is no big deal anyway, after you've been called a cranio-anal whiner. You Microphiles are sometimes innovative, I must admit, though not you personally.
