DAn, this is a form of splitting the assets of the company, and could be the prelude to something bigger, like sale of the network. But the main reason is to unlock shareholder value. We, as owners of CBS stock, will still own 80% of Infinity, plus the cash received from the sale of the 20% to the public will go to CBS corp. To me its win-win,, and expected the stock to react favorable today. larry
