Hi cruncher.....thanks. Sounds like a pretty big fund and I don't blame them for investing in Kinross. Arnou DeBourgrave (sp) said (today) while he was in france, the russian foreign minister bought the house next door.....for $70 million !!!!! As to the russians selling gold..... IMHO.....I believe they sold most off their gold a long time ago. Also the Washington Bureau chief (WSJ) said "Not a single Russian believes they have a Democracy going..... Only the western media is saying that !!!!!".....

Hello Cruncher.....You may find this interesting and why the price of Kinross is going up.......I'm from Timmins and apparently during the later weeks of August the miners were drilling to open up an area to work and came across some visible gold, they continued drilling and were "shocked" to find that the more they drilled the more this view "produced"... so much so that they became too excited to work ...it appears as though this vein is not just a good vein but a whole new ore body that was not expected... the rumor started to spread and on the 24 and 25 of August larger orders were placed to buy the stock here in Timmins.....Kinross is continuing to drill to confirm the presents of a new large gold bearing ore body.and are expected to give a news release next week or so.......under ground talk is that this body will extend the mines life a great deal 15 to 20 more years.......I know it is important to do your own research and DD which is what I would expect from everyone ...information on the net should be taken with a grain of salt.....time will tell in the next short while ..Best Regards.....
