Kirk, re; <<If people understand the reasons for the sell call, they are informed enough to make their decisions and take responsibility.>>

Not sure I understand this comment. Are you saying that if BB calls the market correctly, then he gets all the credit. However, if he misses the bear call, it not his fault, as each investor must make their own decisions? If this is correct, it sure seems to me that its a win, win situation for BB. In other words, he can't be wrong. I really don't think you meant to say this. Appreciate your comments.

as are the followers of those bad news bears who are still idiots, right? that just makes bob an idiot, based upon his own criteria, if he is wrong. he will be a "bad news bear." he also ought to ridicule himself live on the air if that does happen - but he won't.

first i think there is a probability that he is a one way wonder who's only real philosophy is to buy near 10% correction in a bull market. for example, a dow 5000 may not be a buy but dow 5600 may be a "gift horse" a few months later if the dow had dropped from 6200 to 5600.

as a fundamentalist, i smell ta. but, we'll see.

bob may be right about new highs in the next 6 months. i, for one, would be one of the surprised ;-)
