About Genesys T-Server Framework

Genesys T-Server Framework integrates diverse telephony systems, enterprise databases, agent desktop applications, call center applications, and media into a unified customer interaction network for any size enterprise. The complete interaction framework integrates key call center components including premise or central office switches, ACD/PBX systems, IVR systems, and computing systems, enabling the integration of diverse media including voice, data, email and web.

About Alliance Generation

The award-winning Alliance Generation (AG) product line is a family of full-function digital signal processing (DSP) resource cards and an integrated software environment for the development of systems that require voice and call processing, speech recognition, fax, switching, and integration of telephone systems and computer or database systems. Each AG board can connect to a daughterboard which can either expand the number of ports or can add support for the additional functions, such as speech recognition. The Alliance Generation architecture uses DSP resource capabilities efficiently, allowing it to integrate fax algorithms with standard voice and call processing algorithms simultaneously. The integration is seamless and provides the dynamic availability of call, voice and fax processing resources on demand.

About Fusion

Fusion enables voice, traditionally transmitted via circuit switching over the Public Switch Telephone Network (PSTN), to be reliably and quickly transmitted via packet switching over IP-based networks, including corporate intranets and the Internet. Fusion uses an intelligent hardware and software architecture that integrates Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) interfaces, telephony protocols, speech encoding, LAN interfaces and data protocols into a cohesive, open and flexible development platform. Using Natural MicroSystems' integrated CT Access software development environment, developers are able to bring upgradeable full-featured IP telephony solutions to market quickly and cost-effectively.

Hi Frank,

Sorry but I've been on vacation the week and have been trying to relax a little before Fall '98 Voice on the Net which is taking place in a couple of weeks.

With regard to the referenced posting - I wouldn't view these announcements as exclusive decisions (within the company) - and would expect that other parts of DT may (or may not) be using equipment from yet additional vendors as they roll out their own trials and service offerings.

Best Regards,

Jeff Pulver
