mmeggs,

my point is if we drop a few percent because of Russia, how much will we drop when the news of Asia finally hits.

My theory is the situation in Asia is too complex for the media to report. They are more accustomed to reporting simple headline stuff like "...stain on dress...", "....Yeltsin to resign?"

Reporting on Asia will require too much analysis and real number crunching. CNBC and others will only report when someone prominent comes up with some numbers. Despite the fact that I am now quoted in Money Magazine, I am surprised that they have not contacted me for a live interview.

Louis Navalier on CNBC this morning was pathetic. He tried to be casual and cool while making bullish statements. From the body language, he can't wait to run back to the office to execute his sell orders.
