Chris - Very wise as usual. Panicy younger investors who have never seen a real LARGE correction or a bear market and are only concerned about momentum will provide us with one last great opportunity to acquire CYI very, very cheap. Agree, if you invest, take a long term view and do not put in money you cannot exist without for a year or two. I will add at the first indication of an upturn. Would like to have about 50,000 at the first of the year, as I feel the last half of 1999 will be BIG. Looks like the world situation is about to hit bottom. Obviously, from that point, it will have nowhere to go but up. Things are resolved with time. It takes a good fortitude to withstand adversity and just ride it out. That's where your "rule of thumb" applies. Nobody is perfect at timing the market, only can come close, within 10% of tops/bottoms, if we are very astute. And in that, my timing could have been better too, averaging mid-2's. Jim
