Hi Grayhairs,

It has now been almost 5 months since tight hole status has been invoked and I continue to view this in a positive way.Short of the upcoming frac turning out to be a complete disaster,I simply can not conceive anything less but a very upbeat press release when tight hole status is removed in the not too distant future.
I can not imagine a news release that would state "We have not added to our land position in the Strachan area,we will not be drilling any more wells,we will not be putting 3-22-38 into production,we actually determined in July that we have nothing at Strachan and you can contact our attorneys at 1- 403-URSCREWD"
The odds of such a press release are about as likely as Sheila Copps attempting to become leader of the Reform Party.
Another positive way to view this play is the speed that the partners were able to obtain additional financing in June.Collectively Tusk,First Star,Dalton, Loon and 2 private concerns raised almost $5 million. Not chump change with oil trading at $13 a barrel. What was discussed to get these individuals, most I gather from the Calgary investment community to commit such an impressive amount?I doubt that they invested without asking a lot of questions about Strachan.

Only the passage of time will reveal the mysteries of Strachan.

Good Luck on your golfing/scouting,
Richard
